Lisa & Jess were on the Kyle & Jackie O Show discussing fashion week, their new album, their fashion range and the Christmas song they’ve recorded for a Charity album in Australia! Click here to listen to the interview – it starts about halfway through the podcast.

Here are some of the highlights of the interview (please note that I typed up the quotes below from the interview, and some of the words may not be spot on) -

On Fashion Week
Jess: “Fashion Week was great! We went to some great shows. We hit up the Charlotte Ronson Show, which was probably our favourite. We hit up DKNY, Juicy Couture, Max Azria. So yeah, we somehow managed to get front row at all of them, it was fantastic.“
“It was exciting for us because we’re in the middle of developing 2 new fashion ranges for Australia, for more girls our own age. It was nice to check out whats happening.“

On their Fashion Lines
Jess: “We’ve got our younger fashion range. Which you guys know about, through target. Which is still going, and its super cool. We’ve got one coming out which is more like the Urban Outfitters… oh wait, you guys don’t have that in Australia. Its kind of like the young/cool fashion, like General Pants. And then we’re going to do the more couture range as well. So yeah, we’re going to be busy!“

On the new album & Christmas song
Jess: “Early next year we’re wanting the record out. We’re lucky we’ve just done a song that’s going to be on a Charity record in Australia for Christmas. Its not the original song, but it might as well be because we completely re-wrote the melody and all the chords undearneath it. So, we’re kind of excited about that! But as far as new music that we’ve written, it’ll be early next year.“

Last night Lisa attended the Art Of Elysium’s 2nd Annual Genesis Event in LA. She looked gorgeous rockin’ a pair of jeans and Jess’ red jacket! Check out the interview below where Lisa talks about the new album, favorite music right now and being in the recording studio.

Lisa & Jess have recorded a Christmas song! The girls have been tweeting about “getting our goth choir on” and “Merry Gothmas to me” so I think we can be fairly certain that it won’t be one of those sugar and spice Christmas songs. A new release song and video clip would be a fantastic Christmas present for all of us fans! I can’t wait to hear it :)

Looks like we’re going to have to wait just a little bit longer for The Veronicas new album. Lisa had previously tweeted (a few weeks ago) that we could expect the new music to be out later this year, but according to Jess’ tweet from a couple of days ago, its going to be early 2011 when the new album comes out. Although I’m a little disappointed that it won’t be out this year, I would rather the girls take the time that they need and release a kickass album! Regardless of when we get the new single/album I’m sure it’ll be worth the wait, and in the meantime we have the 3 new songs that the girls performed in Atlantic City last week (Set It Off, Woah Ohh, and Heart Like a Boat).

Veronicas fans that attended the show last night in Atlantic City were treated to a first look (well, listen lol) to 3 new Veronicas songs – “Set It Off“, “Heart Like A Boat” and “Woah Ohh”. Have a listen to the new songs and let us know what you think!

Here is our first look at The Veronicas NEW music!!

Lisa shared some exciting news on her twitter today, giving us a time frame for new album, single and…TOUR!. she tweeted that we can expect the single release to be around August/September, album release around October/November, and a tour around September/December!!
