SPIDERMAN ‘TURN OFF THE DARK’

Last night, Lisa & Jess attended Spiderman on Broadway in New York – the show Officially opens on March 15th. The girls went to visit their good friend Reeve Carney, who is currently staring in Spiderman ‘Turn off the Dark’ as Peter Parker (aka, Spiderman). They also had the chance to catch up with Zane (Reeve’s brother) and Kelly Clarkson! You can check out the photos, here.

LISA AT ‘THE TEMPEST’ PREMIER

Last night Lisa attended ‘The Tempest‘ Premier in New York with Reeve Carney. Reeve plays ‘Ferdinand’ in the Tempest, which will be released on December 10th in the US.
I haven’t seen a trailer for the movie yet, so if anyone finds one, send us the link! :)

DKNY FASHION SHOW

After a very busy few days at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York, Lisa & Jess are now heading back to LA. Last night the girls attended the DKNY Fashion Show with Reeve Carney. Lisa & Jess both wore another gorgeous outfit, I particularly like Lisa’s very glamorous sparkly number! You can check out the photos here.

Looks like we have a rather interesting photoshoot to look forward to – “Had the best photoshoot of our lives with @kristinburns & @leilababoi Alters, magik, guns, water, babes.. AND Jesus and Mary were there…..“. Above, are two photos from the girls twitter’s (which I’m assuming are from before/after/during the photoshoot) – I find the picture of Jess really interesting, mainly because of the necklace she is wearing which appears to say ‘slave’. Maybe the photoshoot will be used for publicity leading up to the release of the new single which should be out around August/September!

NEW ALBUM SAID TO BE “DARKER”

“Take40.com spoke to LA band Carney today, whose lead singer Reeve is currently dating Lisa of The Veronicas and we asked for the goss!
Reeve and his brother, lead guitarist Zane Carney, told take40.com that Jess and Corgan are “hanging out”.
“Apparently they’re hanging out,” says Zane. “I don’t know any details.”
The boys said they got to meet Billy when Jess brought him along to the Carney show at the Blues and Roots Festival in Byron Bay on the weekend!
“She brought Billy Corgan to the Carney show at Bluesfest and it was awesome,” they said.
“I don’t really know how much of the rumours are true,” Reeve explained, “But I do know he has been spending time with the Origliasso family!”
Reeve and Zane also told us that Corgan had been contacted by The Veronicas to work on their next album, which they say will be “darker”.
Carney wrap up their Australian tour with a show at The Prince Bandroom tonight in Melbourne — if you’re going down look out for The Veronicas in the crowd!
Meanwhile The Veronicas will be in Melbourne tomorrow doing some work on their Target fashion line!”

NOVA INTERVIEWS WITH CARNEY

Most of you would know that Carney is in Australia at the moment to promote the release of their new album (Mr. Green Volume 1, which can be purchased at all good music stores), and to make a couple of appearance while they’re in the country. Jordana from Nova interviewed the Carney boys yesterday, and has posted the videos/stories on the Nova site.
Here is a really cute interview with Reeve discussing his relationship with Lisa. Reeve is such a sweetie, he even wears a bracelet on his arm with Lisa’s name on it! Awww!

While I’ve listened to this song before, I can’t really say that I’ve really paid it much attention to it and I have to say that was a massive mistake on my behalf! After watching this film clip I will definitely be paying more attention to Carney in the future. The song is REALLY good, I thoroughly recommend that you take a couple of minutes and watch this!
