Today a exclusive preview of Michael Paynter’s new song “Love The Fall” (featuring his good friends Lisa & Jess!) has been uploaded to youtube. Last week the girls were on location in a forest (according to these cryptic tweets from Jess - ”Didn’t believe me? I’m not sleeping tonight………” & “I found someone in the forest .. 330am“) for the filming of his music video. The video will be released soon – can’t wait to see it!

FHM Australia have published their 100 Sexiest Women in the World list. Beating the likes of Kim Kardashian, Ruby Rose and Lady Gaga – The Veronicas have come in at #34 on this years list! Here is what FHM wrote about Lisa & Jess coming in at #34:
“Much to our delight, the Origliasso twins have been oh-wriggling their sexy assos on the world stage since 2005, and at a still-tender combined age of 50, there’s plenty of glorious wriggling yet to come.”

Personally, I think its great when the ‘The Veronicas’ are included on any of these types of lists, but why can’t the girls be nominated separately? They are two different people. What do you think?

Last night Lisa & Jess appeared on FOX8′s Ultimate School Musical, hosted by Ruby Rose! Ruby invited the girls along for a much needed pep talk for the cast. Along with some encouraging words of advice, Lisa & Jess performed one of their new songs ‘Could’ve Been’. The girls definitely seemed to lift the spirits of the cast!

Lisa shared some exciting news on her twitter today, giving us a time frame for new album, single and…TOUR!. she tweeted that we can expect the single release to be around August/September, album release around October/November, and a tour around September/December!!

Ruby Rose just tweeted that Lisa & Jess will be on the Ultimate School Musical next week on FOX8 (Tuesday night at 7:30 pm). So if you have pay TV make sure you tune in!

Most of you would know that Carney is in Australia at the moment to promote the release of their new album (Mr. Green Volume 1, which can be purchased at all good music stores), and to make a couple of appearance while they’re in the country. Sisters The Veronicas, who have returned to Oz for the first time this year, struggled with their suitcases this week after landing in their native Brisbane.
Having been holed up in an LA studio working on their third album, Lisa and Jess Origliasso have taken a break to attend a girlfriend’s wedding, for which they have penned a song.
It will be all about the Blues and Roots Festival in Byron Bay for the Untouched hitmakers this weekend, though, where Lisa’s muso boyfriend Reeve Carney is performing with his band-of-brothers Carney.
The girls will hit Sydney late on Sunday and appear at a party being thrown in their honour at Trademark Hotel in Kings Cross.”

“AUSSIE singing sisters the Veronicas and a seven-year-old girl who raised almost $20,000 for conservation have been named Australia Zoo’s Wildlife Warriors for 2010.
Terri Irwin today recognised the efforts of the next generation of Wildlife Warriors by honouring Jess and Lisa Origliasso, and young Chloe Tsangaris for their efforts.
The awards were presented at Australia Zoo’s VIP Breakfast attended by over 400 supporters who shared in the 40th birthday celebration for the award-winning Beerwah tourist attraction.
Terri paid particularly tribute to Steve Irwin’s parents Bob and Lyn, who started the wildlife park in 1970 and ran it for 22 years before it was taken over by Steve and Terri in 1992.
Chloe, of Brisbane, is a passionate Joey Ambassador and the highest individual fundraiser for Steve Irwin Day both in 2008 and in 2009, having raised close to $20,000 for conservation projects.
The Veronicas were given the gong for their passion for wildlife around the world, including as Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors ambassadors.
Guests at this year’s VIP breakfast were given an exclusive look at historical memorabilia that has helped to shape the Zoo’s culture and success.
Terri Irwin told guests the Zoo planned to expand into the US market by establishing a new zoo in Las Vegas, to spread the conservation message to the 37 million people visiting the gambling mecca each year.
She said that would be followed by the expansion of the Beerwah facility which would include a resort for 300 to 350 people.”
