Jess & Billy were spotted out enjoying some of the sights in Mexico City yesterday, including the Teotihuacan Pyramids. Jess is in town with Billy who will be performing with his band the Smashing Pumpkins at the ‘MTV World Stage’ tomorrow night. The Smashing Pumpkins are currently on tour and Jess has said that she will be in Brazil, Chile, and Argentina with them next. Geez Jess, you’re such a groupie :P

Billy Corgan tweets ‘love’ for Jess Origliasso

Smashing Pumpkins front man Billy Corgan has confirmed his relationship with Veronicas singer Jessica Origliasso via Twitter.

Corgan, 43, sent the 25-year-old Australian pop star a series of romantic tweets over the weekend telling the Twittersphere how eager he was to see her after a tour.

“Looking forward to seeing @jessicaveronica tomorrow and all the wonderful presents she got for me in Sweden and Atlantic City!!! Can’t wait!,” Corgan tweeted.

“Love is: getting presents from someone who loves you!!

“If the only the world knew how giving @jessicaveronica really is. Full of surprises.”

Origliasso retweeted one of the postings and told Corgan she would make him cry “when I get my hands on you tomorrow”.

In April the two were spotted at the Trademark Hotel in Kings Cross.

Earlier this week Lisa jetted off to Sweden for some more recording and writing for The Veronicas new album – you can view a couple of photos of Lisa inside the recording studio here.
On Jess’ way to join Lisa in Sweden, her flight had a major mechanical failure and had to return to LA. Jess tweeted “Right side of the engine failed, plane drops, fuel spills out over the wing, and before I know it I’m back in La…..” – I’m SO glad that Jess is okay :) I’m sure you’ll all agree! After about a days delay, Jess is now on her way to Sweden again and should be arriving there within a few hours.

If you haven’t already gotten your tickets to The Veronicas one off performance in Atlantic City on August 15th – you can purchase tickets here. If you are lucky enough to be able to get along to the show, it looks like there is a very high possibility that you will be one of the very first people to hear some of The Veronicas new music. Here is what Jess tweeted yesterday about the show – “Excited for the show on the 15th in Atlantic city.. We *might* even be playing a new song…………………or 3.. ;)“.

Rising star Michael Paynter has explained how he roped The Veronicas into his latest single Love The Fall.

The Aussie pop act aka Lisa and Jess Origliasso sing backing vocals on the anthemic rock track and also appear in the music video with Lisa playing an angel figure and Jess a devil.

Lisa shared some exciting news on her twitter today, giving us a time frame for new album, single and…TOUR!. she tweeted that we can expect the single release to be around August/September, album release around October/November, and a tour around September/December!!

It seems that Jess has had enough of the Daily Telegraphs gossip section, Sydney Confidential, continually running stories linking her with ex boyfriend Azaria. Earlier today Jess tweeted “@dailytelegraph the article is wrong that you printed in relation to me today. Thanks.” and “Please stop linking me to Azaria.
