BILLY TALKS ABOUT THE VERONICAS NEW ALBUM
In our biggest hint yet as to what we can expect from The Veronicas third album (which is rumoured to be released June/July) – Billy Corgan has talked to V Music and TripleJ about his involvement in the new album.
“The Splendour in the Grass headliner revealed details about the collaboration in an interview with triple j telling The Doctor: “I play guitar on one song. There’s this really great track they have that’s probably going to be the opening track. I don’t know what they’re going to call it; it was tentatively called I’m a Veronica. I know it sounds funny but there’s strange aggressive rapping on it so in the middle of the song it breaks down in to a kinda heavy metal song with a super demonic Black Sabbath type riff. It’s easily the best album they’ve ever made. They’ve worked so hard and I’ve been intimately involved on a lot of levels.”
Personally, I’ll die if there’s any song that mentions anything to do with being a Veronica!!

For anyone that hasn’t seen Lisa’s tweet yet, the third album has officially been named! No word yet on what the name of it actually is, but it looks like we’re going to be getting the new album very very soon!!

The Veronicas have posted a status update (see picture below) just to tease us about the exciting new things that are going to be happening very soon! It’s so exciting to think that concepts for the new music video are starting to be discussed – which can only mean that a new single is only a few moons away.
