The Veronicas caught up with the Bump Show for a quick interview tonight. The girls mentioned that the album will be finished in about 3 weeks, and then they’ll be coming home to Australia to pick and release a new single! Very exciting!!

The Veronicas performed at the Phoenix Pride Festival yesterday. The Phoenix Pride Festival is a two day celebration designed to bring the LGBTQ and allied communities together for a weekend of celebration.

Here are just a couple of questions/answers from the AMA:
Q. Do you have plans to release a dual album or a multiple volume album? You seem to have recorded a ton of material. Maybe a Life on Venus / Life on Mars duo?
A. That’s actually brilliant. We’re going steal this idea because you are a genius! So thank you;) We actually have written over 40 songs for this record alone, so that could be a real possibility! – L

A. YES. every-single-morning. – J
What is the most surprising thing that’s happened to you as a result of your music/being famous?
A. The most surprising thing is always self evolution, opportunity to know deeper sides of yourself. Expressing yourself through creativity, and baring yourself for all to invest in, whether love or hate, is a surprising understanding! Also having the chance to work with/ meet so many of our musical inspirations/ hero’s has been above and beyond our wildest dreams. – J
USTREAM WITH THE VERONICAS
Over 6000 fans tuned in to watch The Veronicas live Ustream broadcast today! Lisa & Jess answered a number of questions submitted by fans and shared the news that the album may not be called Life On Mars. The girls went on to explain that because of the length of time it has taken to complete the creative process they may change the name of the album to suit the music that they are currently writing. There will be an album this year and a tour that will kick off in either USA, UK or Australia! You can watch the recorded Ustream video below.
Due to the high number of traffic on The Veronicas live broadcast, Ustream featured their channel on the front of their website and also tweeted to their 1.4 million Twitter followers about The Veronicas live stream!

The Veronicas posted on their official Facebook page today that they have a new official merchandise store coming soon! The store will stock Veronicas merchandise and items designed by Lisa & Jess. There seems to be a lot of exciting things happening at the moment – if you want to keep up-to-date make sure you’re following @TheVeronicas on twitter and ‘like’ The Veronicas on Facebook.

The Veronicas will be attending the 2013 Phoenix Pride Festival in the U.S on April 6th.
“This year’s 32nd Annual Phoenix Pride Festival is a two day celebration designed to bring our diverse LGBTQ and allied communities together for a weekend of camaraderie and celebration of our past, present and future while raising funds for the Phoenix Pride Community Programs while educating the public about the existence and continuing civil rights battle facing our community. The Phoenix Pride Festival attracts upwards of 24,000 attendees during the two day celebration offering unique opportunities for marketing and exposure for businesses and organizations interested in creating relationships within the LGBTQ community.”
