“Check out some behind the scenes footage of Lisa and Jess as they go through the process of getting their third as-yet-untitled studio album ready for the fans. All music used in this blog will be featured on The Veronicas third studio record, released later this year.
The track you hear playing is called ‘Sugar Daddy’.”
Lisa & Jess arrived back home to Brisbane last Tuesday, after spending the past few months in LA putting the final touches on The Veronicas new record. The girls will be having some much deserved time off while the record is being mixed.
It’s not clear yet whether the album will still be called ‘Life on Mars’, but I for one can’t wait to get my hands on a copy! :)
Hopefully there will be news soon on a new single!

On another exciting note: Good friend of Lisa & Jess’, Michael Paynter, made it through the first round on The Voice Australia tonight! Congratulations Michael! I hope you win it!

This Is How It Feels
The Veronicas held a AMA (Ask Me Anything) on Reddit today to answer questions for fans – you can check out their answers here.
Here are just a couple of questions/answers from the AMA:
Q. Do you have plans to release a dual album or a multiple volume album? You seem to have recorded a ton of material. Maybe a Life on Venus / Life on Mars duo?
A. That’s actually brilliant. We’re going steal this idea because you are a genius! So thank you;) We actually have written over 40 songs for this record alone, so that could be a real possibility! – L
Q. Do you ever wake up and high five each other like ‘hey we are the veronicassss yo’
A. YES. every-single-morning. – J
What is the most surprising thing that’s happened to you as a result of your music/being famous?
A. The most surprising thing is always self evolution, opportunity to know deeper sides of yourself. Expressing yourself through creativity, and baring yourself for all to invest in, whether love or hate, is a surprising understanding! Also having the chance to work with/ meet so many of our musical inspirations/ hero’s has been above and beyond our wildest dreams. – J
